Meet the Director of Learning

Katie Torres

Katie Torres is a passionate and experienced educator with 18 years of teaching and leadership experience at Barnegat High School. She specializes in creating engaging, student-centered learning environments while also serving in multiple leadership roles, including Middle States Internal Coordinator, Professional Development Instructor, and School Improvement Panel member. Katie has led school-wide initiatives, developed curriculum, mentored teachers, and helped shape long-term academic planning. With a Master's in Education, multiple certifications, and numerous awards for excellence and leadership, she brings a strong commitment to academic success, student growth, and building a positive school culture.
